good for first!

It was good for a first track, I'll give you that. If you want the score as a first track, I'd give it a 9 but as a track in itself it's a 6. The reason for this is because for being your first track you show understanding of FL Studio and music in general. There was nothing to say about that was bad. However, it was very repetitive and got boring after a while. It was nice little tune though, so keep it up I look forward to more from you down the road!

Yeah... about the repetitiveness, I thought that was one of the key details of general techno and anything that branches off from that genre.

I guess one gradually mutating and repetitive lead doesn't exactly cut it, but I promise to incorporate a wider variety of leads in future works.

It's a really good song here's some crit.

The vocals sounded really loud compared to the music, I suggest turning them down. Some nice effects on the vocals such as reverb or something would sound nice too. To me, the vocals didn't really blend in all that well, probably because of the lack of reverb and high volume. The singing part also could have been better composed. The lyrics themself were fine, but I think if the vocal line had an interesting melody to them rather than staying on predominately one note most of the time.

Also, at around 3:15 the high synth sounded gritting and the pitch sounded like it was becoming off tune just ever so slightly due to the fact that it was so high, but that's not really your fault :P . All in all, I'd say this is a top notch song, really cool to hear custom vocals, it sounds really neat. Keep up the great tunes man!

It's ok in my opinion, but it's too repetitive for my taste. I'm not a big fan of the style of trance you used either, but that's just my opinion! :) Good luck

I have to agree with the guy below, it sounds like a good intro, but in a song itself, it lacks. It sounds like it builds up, then stops. So add on to it!

cool instrument choice

It's not bad. I do like the instruments you chose! I'd say the reason this may not get good scores is the melody isn't something that sticks in your mind. The chord progression isn't catchy either. That could be it, but it could just be me too. Just keep listening to your favorite techno songs and try to see what they do to make it sound awesome, and just experiment with whatever program you use.

thanks! the melody was fairly random and i dident put much thought in to it i was more focosed on what sounds good with what and to make a nice bass to it but do to lack of attintion i pretty much muted the bass in the song and i cant fix it without like redoing everything -.- (i dont own fl 9) but thanks! :D

Definitely cool

This is very good! I love it. But I think the intro synths and the drone bass could more more "hard" if you know what I mean. I love the little breaks in between the melody coming in and out. Definitely a B+ hardstyle track!!! Drums fit awesome with the song btw, they were my favorite part.

I did get an expansion for hardstyle, so ill try to improve my intros.
